Walking down the street, my camera draped around my neck, I found myself in a contemplative state, not particularly inclined to engage in photography. Nevertheless, I carried it with me, ready to seize any serendipitous moment that might catch my eye. Lost in my own musings, the sound of a young boy's voice broke through my headphones, urgently calling out to me, "Hey, hey... can you capture a portrait of the two of us?" Surprisingly, his plea reached me, and I couldn't resist the opportunity. I took several shots, slightly puzzled when he expressed the need to "prepare himself." Intrigued, I asked, "What do you mean by 'prepare yourself'?" His response left me momentarily confused until I realized he was lighting a cigarette with his friend, a partner in crime, perhaps. And just like that, in that very instant, the mesmerizing portrait "Rebel Rendezvous" was born, evoking memories of my own youthful days and the profound quest for self-discovery.

NOTE TO SELF: Maintain an open mind through tough times. Cultivate humility and curiosity. The encounter with the young boy illuminated the power of unexpected moments. Extraordinary treasures wait to be discovered.
