AMARBAYASGALANT KHIIT
“To find peace in the external world, it is essential to make peace with oneself.”
Amarbayasgalant Khiit is the largest ancient spiritual center in Mongolia, located in the northeast part of the country near the border with Russia. Its name means 'Monastery of Tranquil Felicity.' Despite the communist regime's attempts to destroy religious institutions, Amarbayasgalant Khiit miraculously survived and stands today as one of the few remaining temples. It serves as a significant hub for spreading Tibetan Buddhism beyond Tibet's borders.
